What

When something fails for a passing reason, Claude Code can try again. Before, it waited the same fixed time before each retry. Now it follows a list of waits, one per attempt, and the length of that list sets how many retries happen. A default list is used unless a part of Claude Code supplies its own.

Why

This changes how long Claude Code waits between retries and how many times it tries after a temporary failure.
