Claude Code looks for short prefixes in the text you type. It used to check only whether the text started with a:, s: or o:. It now also accepts:
n:, except when a backslash comes straight after it
- any of these prefixes after a space, not only at the very start
Why
Text you type may now be treated differently, since a prefix later in a line or an n: can now be picked up.
