What

When Claude works in a subfolder, Claude Code can add that folder's CLAUDE.md instruction file to the conversation. The way it avoids adding the same file twice has changed.

It now keeps track of which files it has announced and what each one contained, and compares against that content. It reads the file's timestamp before deciding. In one mode it skips its record of files already read and shows the file's full path.

Why

This may mean the same CLAUDE.md is added to the conversation more than once less often.
