What
Claude Code can now be asked to prepare memory context before a turn begins. Memory context is the remembered information it gives Claude. A turn is one round of Claude responding to you. The request either starts or is declined for one of these reasons:
the request is stale
a turn is already running
the session is ending
a message is already queued
it has already been asked
Each request is also logged.
Why
The program running Claude Code can get memory ready ahead of time, before the turn needs it.
