Claude Code sends usage data (telemetry) about what happens in a session. Two records gain fields:

  • MCP servers: one record about an MCP server (a connected tool provider) now includes the server's type and an id taken from its configuration.
  • Plugin uninstalls: the record sent when a plugin is uninstalled now includes aliased_id when the plugin was named by an alias.
Why

This only changes what is reported. Nothing about how MCP servers or plugin uninstalls behave is different.
