Claude Code now checks a new switch that Anthropic's servers can turn on or off. If the server sends nothing, the code treats this switch as on. A separate group of settings is now read from a different, renamed switch. If the server sends nothing for that one, it falls back to off.
These are new or renamed behaviours controlled from Anthropic's side, so they can change without a Claude Code update.
