What
When you use Claude through Amazon Bedrock, a guardrail (a content filter set up in Bedrock) can step in and replace part of a reply with its own text. That text can arrive marked for the wrong part of the reply. Claude Code now holds such stray text back. If the reply ends with a note that the guardrail intervened, the text is moved into the reply's open text. Otherwise the held text is passed on unchanged.
Why
Messages from Bedrock guardrails that used to go missing now appear in the reply.
