What

A turn is one exchange between you and Claude. Some turns are handed off to Claude Code from elsewhere. When a handed-off turn carries a message_client_platform value, Claude Code now looks at the first user message that has no origin tag yet and marks it as coming from a human.

Why

This affects how messages in handed-off cloud turns are credited: the opening message is recorded as typed by a person.
