What
Ultrareview is a longer review Claude Code runs as a separate session. Its dialog changed in several ways.
- The "Open in browser" option and the session link are gone.
- When the review is finished, the dialog shows only "Dismiss" and the line "The full review is in this session."
- The "Stop ultrareview?" question is now a confirm or cancel choice instead of a plain list. Back comes first and is selected by default.
- A key guide now shows that Enter selects and Escape goes back.
Why
With Back selected by default, pressing Enter by mistake no longer stops a running review. You can also no longer open the review page from the dialog; the result is read in the session itself.
Names in the bundle/ultrareview
The entry above is what we published on the day. These lines were added later, as Anthropic's own pages caught up, and they sit beside the original rather than replacing it.
Added since
A small documentation edit on Code Review touched a line naming /ultrareview after this was published.
To run a cloud review from a script or CI job, use the [`claude ultrareview` subcommand](/docs/en/ultrareview#run-ultrareview-non-interactively), which waits for the findings and prints them to stdout.code-review see the edit
Confirmed since
Anthropic's documentation has since written up /ultrareview, on Claude Code changelog.
* Fixed `/ultrareview` giving advice about `.git/info/attributes` when the upload stops on a committed `.gitattributes` it cannot read, such as one saved as UTF-16changelog see the edit
