Mouse hover no longer lights up text when the pointer is on blank space

In fullscreen, mouse hover and clicks now check whether the pointer is over actual text or over the blank space next to it. Some text is no longer highlighted when the pointer rests on that empty space. The first click of a series of clicks is now handled separately, and the scroll bar can scroll by a set amount.
