What

A marketplace is a catalog Claude Code installs plugins from. When a marketplace fails a trust check, Claude Code shows a hint on how to fix it. The hint's wording changed:

  • When the problem is how the marketplace is declared, the hint now says to fix its extraKnownMarketplaces entry in settings.
  • When the problem is where the marketplace is fetched from, the hint now says to re-add the marketplace, or declare it under extraKnownMarketplaces.

Before, the hint said to "re-add the marketplace, or fix the declaration in settings".

Why

If you hit a marketplace trust error, the hint now names the exact setting to edit.
