Claude Code writes its own log lines, each stamped with a time and a level such as INFO or ERROR. Messages that span several lines now pass through an extra processing step before they are written. Single-line messages also get a text-replacement step that they did not get before.

Why

This may mean some log content is now hidden or escaped. Escaping means special characters are rewritten so they cannot be misread.
