Transcripts are processed before being attached to feedback

When you send feedback or share a session, Claude Code now passes the transcripts through a processing step instead of attaching them as-is

What

When you send feedback or share a session from Claude Code, it can attach transcripts, which are records of the conversation. Claude Code now passes each of these through a processing step before it goes into the report:

  • the session transcript
  • subagent transcripts, from helper agents the main session started
  • the raw transcript file
  • recent session transcripts

Before, the transcript went into the report unchanged.

Why

The transcript sent with feedback is no longer an unaltered copy of the session.
