A marketplace is a catalogue of plugins that Claude Code can install from. When a marketplace source is looked up, Claude Code now checks whether it would replace a marketplace you already have. If the source cannot be understood, the error reads "Invalid marketplace source format. Try: owner/repo, https://..., or ./path".
