What
When Claude wants to run a shell command, Claude Code asks for your permission in a dialog. That dialog has been rearranged:
- The description of the command now appears above the command, not below it.
- The list of network hosts the command may reach has moved down into the options area.
- That host list only appears when there are hosts to show.
- The dialog no longer adds extra padding at the sides.
What you are asked to approve and how approval works are unchanged.
Why
The approval prompt looks different, so expect to read the description before the command.
