What
On WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux, which runs Linux inside Windows), Windows drives appear as mounted folders. Claude Code now reads the system's list of mounts more carefully. It:
spots malformed entries
recognises 9p mounts and mounts that use a prefixpath= option
recognises shares of other Windows drives
The sandbox's read and write protections, which control which files commands may touch, now also apply to paths inside one of these mounts.
Why
WSL users get file protections that match how their Windows drives are actually mounted, including folders inside a mount.
