Two small internal changes, neither of which changes anything you see or do:
- Tool-use summaries: Claude Code sometimes writes a short summary of the tool calls it has made (a tool call is one action, such as reading a file or running a command). The background request that writes that summary is now labelled as a helper request that uses no tools itself.
- Denied permission prompts: when you are asked to allow a tool call and it ends up denied, the usage data Claude Code reports now records whether that prompt went unanswered.

Both changes add detail to how Claude Code labels its own background requests and records denied permission prompts.
