What
When Claude Code runs git itself, it forces a few settings so your personal git configuration cannot change the output. It now also sets format.pretty to medium, git's standard layout for commit logs.
Why
If you have set a custom log format in your git configuration, Claude Code can still read git's output correctly. Your own git commands are not affected.
