The plugins that ship with Claude Code were renamed with a cc-plugin- prefix, such as agents-md becoming cc-plugin-agents-md

Claude Code comes with some plugins built in. A plugin is an add-on that adds commands, skills or tools. These built-in plugins now have new names:

  • sec-default is now cc-plugin-sec-default
  • agents-md is now cc-plugin-agents-md
  • telemetry is now cc-plugin-telemetry
  • plugin-authoring is now cc-plugin-plugin-authoring
Why

The names of these plugins in your settings, including in enabledPlugins, may be different now. If you turn one of them on or off by name, check that you are using the new name.
