What
In the terminal display, hovering the mouse over some elements highlights them. Before, the highlight changed only when the mouse moved. Elements can now be marked so that they also gain or lose the highlight when the screen redraws under a mouse that has not moved.
Why
Hover highlights can stay correct when content scrolls or changes under the pointer.
