Before making an edit, Claude Code can adjust the file path and the old and new text so they match the files on disk. This used to happen only for edits made through remote calls. It now also happens when an edit's input is marked as coming from another machine.

Edits sent from a different device should find the right file and text the same way remote calls already did.
