What
Claude Code attaches short system reminders (notes to the model that it adds itself) to your messages. Some of these are folded together into a user message. For models that support system messages partway through a conversation, reminders that carry a key are no longer merged into the same block. They are kept as separate entries next to each other.
Why
This changes how reminders are packaged for the model on models that have this capability. Other models are unaffected.
