What

/recap now gives a fixed refusal instead of a summary unless you asked for it yourself in this session. Requests from these places still work:

the terminal
the Claude app or claude.ai/code
Remote Control
a verified person in Slack

Requests that are refused:

messages relayed from Slack, Teams or a project thread
messages sent by a routine or another program

Before, /recap ran for anyone who sent it.

Why

Relayed or automated messages can no longer pull a summary of your session out of it.
