What
Plugins can ship a bin folder of programs, which Claude Code adds to PATH, the list of folders your system searches for commands. Claude Code now checks each folder first. A folder that does not exist, or whose path is not a folder, is left out. If the check itself times out or fails for another reason, the folder is kept and a message is logged.
Why
PATH no longer fills up with folders from plugins that do not have a bin folder.
