Claude Code has new checks for a "diskless" cloud session, one with no file storage:

  • Git commands are refused with "Programs are unavailable in this session; the command was not run."
  • File suggestions when you type @ return nothing.

The setting behind this starts off and nothing in Claude Code itself switches it on, so these checks do not run in this build.

Why

For now nothing changes for you. The checks prepare for a kind of cloud session where Claude Code refuses to start programs instead of failing partway through.
