A marketplace is a place Claude Code installs plugins from. If you add a marketplace using a name that already exists but a different source, the success message now says more. It says:
the marketplace now points at the new source
plugins already installed from it will now update from the new source
how to undo the change
Before, you saw only that the marketplace was added.
Why
Quietly changing where a marketplace's plugins come from could put different code on your machine the next time plugins update. Saying so makes that change visible.
