Directory sync copies your working folder to another place, such as a cloud session. When you attach to a cloud session, Claude Code used to check a remotely controlled switch before offering to start syncing, and stopped there if the switch was off. That check has been removed from this step, so the offer to start file sync now goes ahead without it.
In the previous release that switch was off by default, and the flag server has since been answering on for this site's account.
File sync may now start for cloud sessions that this switch used to hold back.
