What
The artifact tool works with artifacts published through it. It now gives clearer errors for input it cannot use:
- A claude.site or chat artifact link: it explains that artifacts from claude.ai chats are separate and cannot be read, and asks for the content to be pasted instead
- A claude.ai chat or project link: it says it cannot read that kind of link and suggests listing artifacts instead
- An artifact id on its own: it suggests passing the full link

Claude is less likely to keep retrying links it can never open.
