What
Publishing an artifact from a file stored on a network share, such as a shared drive reached through a network path, is now refused. You see: "Not published: that file is on a network share. Publish a file from this session's folders instead." Before, such files were allowed.
There are two exceptions and one further check:
- Paths inside the trusted network directories set in your permissions are still allowed.
- A publish whose source file cannot be safely verified is also refused.
Why
If you keep projects on a shared network drive, publishing artifacts from there may stop working. Copy the file into the session's own folders, or use a trusted network directory.
