When uploading to the cloud fails because git cannot be found on PATH (the list of folders your system searches for programs), Claude Code shows an error asking you to fix this and retry. On Windows, that error now adds that the folder must contain git.exe itself, because git.cmd and git.bat wrapper files are skipped.
Why
If your Windows setup only exposes git through a git.cmd or git.bat wrapper, the message now tells you that is the reason git was not found, and that you need the folder holding git.exe on PATH.
