Two separate internal changes:
Supervisors: for a running supervisor that was not started through an MCP write, the activity step no longer sets its last-activity time directly and calls two other routines instead.
Custom skills and agents: when Claude Code reads these records, it no longer works out whether each one was made by Anthropic or by a user.
Why
Dropping the author type may change how items written by Anthropic are labelled in lists.
