The SDK (software development kit) lets other programs drive Claude Code. When Claude Code rebuilds a result message from a stored finished result with subtype "success", it now keeps the original result text if the result is marked as an error and has no structured output. Before, that text was always empty.

Programs using the SDK that used to get an empty result on a turn that ended in error now get the error text.
