The dialog that asks whether to resume a conversation or start a new one warns how much of your 5-hour usage limit resuming would take. Its "Start a new conversation" option now has a description: "Claude can look this one up if you refer to it later".
Why
It tells you that choosing a fresh conversation instead of an expensive resume does not mean losing what was in the old one.
