When a tool returns an MCP task (a long-running job from an outside MCP server) and that task moves to the background, Claude Code has new code to report this to a component that keeps a worker awake. The check that controls it always returns false in this build, so it never runs.
Why
This looks like preparation for keeping a worker running while background MCP tasks finish.
