The daemon is a background process Claude Code keeps running, and its supervisor oversees the worker processes under it. Remote control workers can now report how many tools they are serving. The supervisor:
- accepts the count only if it is a whole number within a set range
- stores it separately for each worker
- clears it when that worker exits
- signals a state change whenever the count changes
Before, the only report these workers could send was whether they were busy.
