What
An artifact is a page or document Claude publishes. Publishing an artifact now has an extra check. The check applies when a feature called live paths is on and a page is published with live set to true. Types and markdown are not affected. Claude Code can then reject a page that saves over itself, with the error code live_self_saving_page.
Why
This stops Claude from publishing pages that overwrite themselves while they are being kept in sync live.
