What

Lists you pick from in Claude Code's menus and settings screens can now become disabled or enabled while they are on screen. Changes:

  • A click on a row checks whether the list is disabled at that moment and is ignored if it is.
  • Disabled rows no longer show a clickable cursor.
  • A new kind of list sets how many rows it shows based on the space left on screen.
  • The scrollbar now appears only under a certain condition.
Why

This stops clicks from taking effect in a dialog whose list has been disabled while it was open, for example while something is being submitted.

The writer flagged doubtIt is unclear when the scrollbar is now hidden, and which dialogs use the new list that fits its height to the screen.
