What
Claude Code can be asked by another program to fill in a prompt. Its reply used to say only whether the prompt was filled, the text, and where the cursor sits. It now also passes along a refusal, when the fill produced one.
Why
In practice, a refusal that happens while filling a prompt can now reach the program that asked, instead of being left out of the reply.
