What
The input box can shift lines of text in or out. Shifting right (>) adds two spaces to the start of each line, and shifting left removes two spaces or one tab. Empty lines are now left alone. Before, shifting right gave empty lines two spaces with nothing after them.
Why
Indenting a block of text no longer leaves lines that contain only spaces.
