Some slash commands (commands you type starting with /) run straight away even while Claude is still in the middle of answering. Before, any output from these commands was added to the conversation immediately, landing in the middle of the reply that was still streaming in.
That output is now held back and shown once the current turn finishes. A turn is one round of Claude working on your message and replying.
Why
Typing a command while Claude is working no longer breaks up the reply on screen. The command's output appears as a separate block after the answer.
