What
Claude Code takes Git snapshots of your work at certain points. In two places, it now runs git write-tree --ignore-cache-tree instead of plain git write-tree. Git keeps a cached summary of folder contents to speed things up, and this flag makes it rebuild the snapshot from the list of files instead of trusting that summary. Other snapshot paths in Claude Code already used this flag.
Why
In practice, a snapshot now matches the files actually recorded even if Git's cached summary is out of date.
