What
The entries in the model picker for sonnet, opus and fable, plus their 1M-context variants (versions that accept a much longer conversation), are now built from the latest model listed for each family in the model catalog that ships with Claude Code. The Fable entry's fallback label used to be the fixed text "Fable 5.1" and now comes from that catalog as well.
Why
This lets the picker follow new model versions without code changes. The label you see only changes if the catalog names Fable differently from "Fable 5.1".
