Claude Code can sync a folder, which means keeping a copy of it in step with another place. It checks that you have consented to this. If that check now says consent was withdrawn, sync stops immediately. Any other answer that is not "given" still waits for a second check to confirm it before sync stops. Before, every such answer waited for confirmation.
The upload heartbeat (a regular signal that an upload is still going) has been removed, along with the message saying file sync was paused on that machine by Anthropic as an emergency switch. A count of results from other machines is now kept when a saved sync record is loaded.
