What
The /artifacts panel has been rebuilt.
- Each artifact's actions (attach, open, copy, pin, rename, delete, dismiss) now depend on what you are allowed to do with that artifact, rather than being decided once for the whole panel.
- When the terminal's accessibility mode is on, selecting an artifact opens an "Actions for " menu to pick from. Press Escape to go back.
- The
ctrl+rshortcut on the selected row has been removed. - The short delay that stops a repeated Enter press now applies when you select a row.
Why
People using screen readers can choose actions from a menu instead of learning single-key shortcuts, and every row only offers actions that make sense for that artifact.

Confirmed since
Anthropic's documentation has since written up /artifacts, on Claude Code changelog.
* Improved lists beside a search box, such as `/skills` and `/artifacts`, to draw their pointer dim while the search box has the keys, so only one pointer is highlightedchangelog see the edit
