Claude Code shows short summaries of the shell commands it runs. When it builds a summary, it now replaces any run of spaces, line breaks or invisible control characters with a single space. Before, it did this only for spaces and line breaks.
Why
Control characters are hidden characters that can scramble or disguise what a terminal shows. Removing them keeps a command's summary on one readable line and shows it as it really is.
