While Claude is busy, you can type further messages and they wait in a queue. You can also pull those queued messages back into the input box to edit them. If a message had an IDE selection attached, the IDE selection now comes back with it (through returnIdeSelection). An IDE selection is the code you had highlighted in your editor, shown in the prompt as a small label called a pill.
Separately, the input box's change handler can now be given the previous text and cursor position directly. It uses them to spot a mode character, which is a special character that switches the input into a different mode.
Why
Editing a queued message no longer drops the editor selection you had attached to it.
