What
The management list opened from /plugin shows your plugins, skills and MCP servers (MCP servers are outside programs that give Claude extra tools). Each row used to be one run of text with a coloured badge and fields separated by dots. Each row is now laid out in columns:
Status symbol at the start.
Name in a fixed-width column, at most 44 characters, cut short at the end if longer.
Type as a plain label.
Status and details last.
The usual status ("enabled", "connected") is no longer written out, so only unusual states stand out. An MCP server that needs you to log in now says "needs sign-in". For claude.ai connectors, the shared start of their names is dimmed. A plugin's use count only appears when it is above zero.
Why
The list is easier to scan: names line up, normal items stay quiet, and anything that needs your attention, such as a server waiting for sign-in, is easier to spot.
The entry above is what we published on the day. These lines were added later, as Anthropic's own pages caught up, and they sit beside the original rather than replacing it.
