What
Claude Code now reads the plugin catalog cache, and files in a plugin's folder, more carefully. It refuses the file when it is:
a symlink (a file that just points to another location)
not a regular file
too large
Each refusal logs a warning.
Why
This stops Claude Code from following a link to somewhere unexpected or loading an oversized file when it reads plugin data. If a plugin file is refused, the warning says so.
