A permission prompt asks you to approve or reject something before Claude Code does it. The countdown on these prompts now takes its deadline from denialLimitFallback.deadlineEpochMs. If that is missing, it uses autoDenyWindow.deadlineEpochMs instead.
Safety-check prompts that deny automatically after timeoutMs now get a deadline in the same way as denial-limit fallback prompts.
Why
Prompts that deny on their own after a time limit now have a deadline the countdown can use. You can see how long you have before the prompt answers "no" for you.
