What
When a session is handed from one environment to another, Claude Code restores later uploads or a checkout of your code from the session's storage. New messages, some for you and some for the agent, now explain why that could not happen. Reasons include:
- the storage was missing
- the request was refused
- git failed
- an attached machine
- the handoff was not taken
- the sync setting changed
One message, for example, reads "your machine's latest changes could not be brought in yet".
Why
When a restore does not work, you get a specific reason instead of the work silently not showing up.
